Hope is one thing that every person on Earth wants.  I doubt there is anyone who’s ever lived who didn’t desire hope.
Hope for love.
Hope for their family.
Hope for their career.
Hope for the world.
Hope for their life.
Hope is something or someone to have confidence in/on.  Hope is a solution to trust in.  Hope is a source that sustains us.
Simply put, what we place our hope in will define our lives.

When we put our hope in things that don’t last, like money, or people, or even aspirations, our lives are then defined by the temporary.
However, when we place our hope in the One who always endures, our lives are defined by the One who has the right to define life.
Not only this, but God never intended for his hope to be an ideal or a concept; Hope is meant to be fresh, living, and moving through us in our everyday lives.  Jesus coming as a human was God reaching out with his hope in action.  The Holy Spirit is God continually filling us with hope that never runs dry.
Check out what scripture says:

Romans 15:13
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.  Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

God is the source of hope.
Jesus is hope come to us.
The Holy Spirit is hope within us.

What we place our hope in will define our lives.Click To Tweet

Hope isn’t just a notion.  Hope is real, alive, and available for anyone who trusts in Him.  Hope is available for you right now, no matter your circumstances, your past, or even your future.
What an incredible gift!
Let’s rest in the irrefutable fact that there is hope, a great and wide-reaching hope, that is within our reach.  Not because of what we’ve done, but because of His great love for us, for you.
