This weekend, we’re finishing a series called Grattitude, which is all about learning how to respond graciously in our lives by choosing to have an attitude of gratitude.
Last weekend was all about verbalizing our gratitude by expressing our gratitude to God and others (click here to check out the #GrATTITUDE Challenge on Facebook).  While important, saying it (that is our gratitude) is only half the solution; we must also learn to show it!
Like Matt said last week, Gratitude is never silent. Likewise, Gratitude is never invisible. For gratitude to truly exist, it must be expressed and experienced, or else it just becomes good intentions and platitudes.
This is all good and fine, and sure, being a grateful person is attractive and positive, but what does the Bible have to say about expressing gratitude?

Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Here we see Paul encouraging the church he’s speaking to not only give thanks to God, but to give thanks in everything they do in the name of Jesus. Whether we are at work or playing with our kids, we need to find ways that we can be showing our gratitude.
This weekend, Matt is going to be focusing specifically a few ways that we should be expressing gratitude in our everyday lives.  Our relationships with others, how we steward what is given to us, how we choose to serve others, and the way we live out our calling are all opportunities for us to express gratitude.
Remember: In whatever we do, with our words or with our actions, we have to find ways to show our gratitude!
Come this weekend ready to be encouraged and motivated to find new ways to show your gratitude as we dive headfirst into the holiday season.
