KidStreet

(Birth Through 5th Grade)

OUR VISION

Through KidStreet, we are excited to offer your family an experience far deeper than childcare on Sunday morning. Our aim is to humbly point YOUR CHILD to absolute Hope!

This is at the heart of what your child will experience in KidStreet. We strive to create an environment where your child is seen, known, & valued. Where relationships matter, and the teaching is relevant, has life impact, & is disciple-making (not just teaching a Bible story).

WHAT'S SUNDAY LIKE?

Every Sunday, all children (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where relationships are forged and the Bible is taught in creative, fun and relevant ways. Dynamic small group conversations focus on life application opportunities, bringing their growing faith to life!

We believe that coming to faith in Jesus is the most significant decision that a person will ever make, and research tells us that the chance of a person doing so declines rapidly after the age of twelve.

If we want to see more disciples of Jesus, it is critical that we invest deeply in the lives and spiritual formation of children and come alongside families. Together, we can make the most of those teachable moments life hands us, and we can do so with our faith at the forefront.

Come join the fun and experience a faith community where kids are known, invested in, and humbly pointed to absolute Hope in Jesus! We would love to see you and your family visit KidStreet at Journey Church THIS Sunday.

CAN I TAKE A TOUR OF KIDSTREET?

Absolutely! We recently did a tour of KidStreet and talked about all of the safety procedures we have put in place.

HOW DOES CHECK-IN WORK?

When you walk in our building, you’ll likely be greeted by our host team and directed to the KidStreet entrance to the left in the Lobby. We will meet your family, check your child into our secured check-in system, and one of our hosts will lead you to their age-appropriate room.

You will receive a name tag for your child and a security tag that has a number unique to your child to allow you to collect your child at the end of the service. If your child needs you during service, we will put this security tag number on the screen in the Main Room.

We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs, etc) for your child. This is all to ensure the safety of your child.

The safety and health of your child is one of our top concerns. Help us to take the best possible care of them by letting us know any information that’s helpful about your child.

PRE-REGISTER YOUR CHILD

AFTER KIDSTREET

On your way home from KidStreet, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” We also want to give family resources to be able to continue the conversation with your child at home & even address challenges in your life as a family..
